Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CNTN4-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CNTN4-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher CNTN4-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CNTN4-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and BRCA show a favorable association.

UVM, STAD, and UCS are the cancer types where CNTN4-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
