Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CNOT4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CNOT4 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher CNOT4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CNOT4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and LUSC show a favorable association.
THYM, READ, and SKCM are the cancer types where CNOT4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
