Across TCGA patient cohorts, CMTM8 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 18 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CMTM8-associated genes across cancer lineages are 14-3-3_beta, EGFR_pY1068, and ACC1. Each is linked with CMTM8 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CMTM8-to-partner and partner-to-CMTM8 results are reported.
