Across TCGA patient cohorts, CMTM5 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,415 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CMTM5-associated genes across cancer lineages are FAM96AP1, UHRF1, and MIR8058. Each is linked with CMTM5 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CMTM5-to-partner and partner-to-CMTM5 results are reported.
