Across TCGA patient cohorts, CLIC5 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 16,642 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CLIC5-associated genes across cancer lineages are KIF14, ABCA8, and ENPP4. Each is linked with CLIC5 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CLIC5-to-partner and partner-to-CLIC5 results are reported.
