Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CLGN Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CLGN data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher CLGN Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CLGN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where CLGN Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
