Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CLC Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CLC data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher CLC Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CLC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, LUAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where CLC Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
