Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CKMT1B RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CKMT1B data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher CKMT1B RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CKMT1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and LGG show a favorable association.
KIRP, UCEC, and LGG are the cancer types where CKMT1B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
