Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CKAP2L Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CKAP2L data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher CKAP2L Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CKAP2L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
KIRP, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where CKAP2L Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
