Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CIAO3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CIAO3 data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher CIAO3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CIAO3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where CIAO3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
