CHRNA5

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, CHRNA5 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,216 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CHRNA5-associated genes across cancer lineages are RN7SL248P, ZNF2, and RNA5SP411. Each is linked with CHRNA5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CHRNA5-to-partner and partner-to-CHRNA5 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, RN7SL248P grouped by CHRNA5-low versus CHRNA5-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (CHRNA5→partner) and Y-score (partner→CHRNA5) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
