Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CHODL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CHODL data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher CHODL Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CHODL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
LUAD, ESCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where CHODL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
