Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CHKB-DT RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 14 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of CHKB-DT’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where CHKB-DT RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types CHKB-DT is over-expressed in tumor.

BLCA, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where CHKB-DT tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
