Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CHCHD1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CHCHD1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher CHCHD1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CHCHD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA are the cancer types where CHCHD1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
