Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CHAF1B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CHAF1B data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where higher CHAF1B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CHAF1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
PRAD and LUSC are the cancer types where CHAF1B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
