Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CFTR Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CFTR data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher CFTR Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CFTR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.

LIHC, LUSC, and SARC are the cancer types where CFTR Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
