Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA cell cohorts, CFTR mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 441 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible CFTR-associated genes across cancer lineages are MMP26, RTP2, and DMRTB1. Each is linked with CFTR in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CFTR-to-partner and partner-to-CFTR results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, MMP26 grouped by CFTR-low versus CFTR-high in SOFT_TISSUE.
mutation associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (CFTR→partner) and Y-score (partner→CFTR) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
