Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CEP55 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CEP55 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher CEP55 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CEP55 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
BLCA, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where CEP55 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
