Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CENPT Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CENPT data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher CENPT Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CENPT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LGG, and BLCA are the cancer types where CENPT Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
