Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CENPT mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CENPT data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher CENPT mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CENPT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and HNSC show a favorable association.

UCEC, LUAD, and LSCC are the cancer types where CENPT mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
