Across TCGA patient cohorts, CEL mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 31 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CEL-associated genes across cancer lineages are EGFR_pY1068, Caspase-7-cleavedD198, and c-Kit. Each is linked with CEL in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CEL-to-partner and partner-to-CEL results are reported.
