Across TCGA patient cohorts, CEBPA protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 7,178 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CEBPA-associated genes across cancer lineages are NPC2, CD52, and IL16. Each is linked with CEBPA in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CEBPA-to-partner and partner-to-CEBPA results are reported.
