Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CDRT15P8 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 4 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of CDRT15P8’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where CDRT15P8 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types CDRT15P8 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUSC and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
BRCA, LUSC, and THCA are the cancer types where CDRT15P8 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
