Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CDK5 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CDK5 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher CDK5 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CDK5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and COAD show a favorable association.

CCRCC, UCEC, and LUAD are the cancer types where CDK5 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
