Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CDH3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CDH3 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher CDH3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CDH3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
CESC, LUSC, and OV are the cancer types where CDH3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
