Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CDA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CDA data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher CDA Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CDA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.
SKCM, LIHC, and LUAD are the cancer types where CDA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
