Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CD82 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CD82 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher CD82 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CD82 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and UCEC show a favorable association.

HNSC, CCRCC, and COAD are the cancer types where CD82 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
