Across TCGA patient cohorts, CD5L protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 13,001 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CD5L-associated genes across cancer lineages are CCL2, SEMA6B, and SERPINE1. Each is linked with CD5L in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CD5L-to-partner and partner-to-CD5L results are reported.
