Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CD58 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CD58 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher CD58 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CD58 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

UCEC, LUAD, and LSCC are the cancer types where CD58 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
