Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CD55 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CD55 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher CD55 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CD55 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC and BRCA are the cancer types where CD55 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
