Across TCGA patient cohorts, CD55 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 8,454 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CD55-associated genes across cancer lineages are ACTA2, FN1, and PLA2G5. Each is linked with CD55 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CD55-to-partner and partner-to-CD55 results are reported.
