Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CD27 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CD27 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher CD27 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CD27 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and SKCM show a favorable association.

HNSC, SKCM, and CESC are the cancer types where CD27 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
