Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCSER1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CCSER1 data layer compared with 10 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher CCSER1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCSER1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and LGG show a favorable association.
KIRC, THCA, and LGG are the cancer types where CCSER1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
