Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCL8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CCL8 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher CCL8 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCL8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA, PAAD, and PRAD are the cancer types where CCL8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
