Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCK Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CCK data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher CCK Mutation is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCK expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
SKCM are the cancer types where CCK Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
