Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCER1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CCER1 data layer compared with 10 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher CCER1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCER1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML and SKCM show a favorable association.
KIRP, KIRC, and LAML are the cancer types where CCER1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
