Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC68 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CCDC68 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher CCDC68 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC68 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and COAD show a favorable association.

BRCA, CESC, and COAD are the cancer types where CCDC68 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
