Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC43 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CCDC43 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher CCDC43 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC43 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, SKCM, and UCEC are the cancer types where CCDC43 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
