Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC43 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CCDC43 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher CCDC43 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC43 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and UCEC show a favorable association.

LUAD, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where CCDC43 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
