Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC38 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CCDC38 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher CCDC38 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC38 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM are the cancer types where CCDC38 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
