Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC190 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 9 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of CCDC190’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where CCDC190 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types CCDC190 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUAD and UCEC show the opposite, repressed pattern.

LUAD, UCEC, and THCA are the cancer types where CCDC190 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
