Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC169-SOHLH2 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 12 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of CCDC169-SOHLH2’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where CCDC169-SOHLH2 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types CCDC169-SOHLH2 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BLCA and COAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.

LUAD, BLCA, and COAD are the cancer types where CCDC169-SOHLH2 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
