The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher CCDC144NL-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC144NL-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and COAD show a favorable association.
KIRP, BRCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where CCDC144NL-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
