Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC140 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CCDC140 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher CCDC140 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC140 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
ESCA, PRAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where CCDC140 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
