Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC124 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CCDC124 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher CCDC124 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC124 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and GBM show a favorable association.

HNSC, OV, and LSCC are the cancer types where CCDC124 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
