Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CCDC115 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CCDC115 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher CCDC115 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CCDC115 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC are the cancer types where CCDC115 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
