Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CBX6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CBX6 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher CBX6 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CBX6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
LUSC, ESCA, and LIHC are the cancer types where CBX6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
