Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CBX5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CBX5 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher CBX5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CBX5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC, ESCA, and LUSC are the cancer types where CBX5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
