Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CBX3P6 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of CBX3P6’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where CBX3P6 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types CBX3P6 is over-expressed in tumor.
LUSC, LIHC, and BRCA are the cancer types where CBX3P6 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
