Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CBLIF RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CBLIF data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher CBLIF RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CBLIF expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and BLCA show a favorable association.
COAD, LUSC, and BLCA are the cancer types where CBLIF RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
